The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as a Property and Facility Director for our branch in Hutto, TX.

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Property and Facility Director will oversee the general maintenance of the Hutto Family YMCA, including management of maintenance and custodial staff, to ensure good member experience and a pristine facility.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and manages a preventative maintenance program for the purpose of ensuring the Branch is well maintained and is in a safe and orderly condition
  • Receive and approve invoices for completed work, coding and submitting them promptly and on time for payment
  • Assures maintenance and repair of Branch interior, exterior, and equipment, by performing or supervising maintenance tasks or facilitating work by outside maintenance services personnel, as directed by Executive Director
  • Perform limited plumbing, electrical, equipment and structural repairs on Community buildings, or special projects, as needed
  • Conduct daily inspections to identify areas of concern
  • Identify needed repairs/prioritize and include on daily list
  • Work order repair process completed timely as assigned
  • Generate list of items for short and long term maintenance reserve lists to include multiple contractor bids for each item
  • Develop and maintain file system documenting all repairs, receipts and notations for all projects
  • Manage scheduling and completion of PM activities within Tracker system
  • Oversee the Indoor Aquatic Center in working order i.e. plumbing, HVAC, lighting, cleaning, identify and make/schedule all necessary repairs
  • Maintain a system of supplies and inventory that provides adequate supplies necessary for day to day operations
  • Supervise Contract Cleaning Services for Hutto branch

Skills/ Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years’ experience in maintenance, construction, emergency repairs and/or roofing, or equivalent combination of work experience and education, showing progressively higher levels of responsibility preferred
  • Working knowledge of new construction, remodel projects, roofing systems/repairs, and other related upkeep preferred
  • Experience working on electrical, plumbing, and carpentry projects preferred
  • CPO Certification preferred
  • Must pass reference checks, pre-employment drug screen, background check and sex offender registry check

Pay Rate: $49,000 to $53,790/year
