This position starts September 2024

We are looking for a caring, fun loving, energetic and creative individuals who enjoy working with children. The ideal candidate needs to be a good leader, communicator, problem solver, and be able to engage with children ages 18 months - 5 years old.

Skills/ Requirements:

  • Provide fun and safe atmosphere of learning for all classes
  • Develop and implement weekly/monthly lesson plans
  • Supervise and ensure staff is performing assigned job duties
  • Maintain a system of supplies and inventory that provides adequate resources and support for lesson plans
  • Assist in the scheduling of YMCA facilities to deliver programs
  • Promote/support staff and assist with their training, development and recognition
  • Perform general office duties including, but not limited to, filing, answering phone calls, returning phone calls, making copies and office organization
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in decision-making processes
  • Ability to effectively supervise children and staff
  • 12 months experience working with children preferred
  • Be friendly, courteous, enthusiastic, possess a cooperative attitude, and be a team player
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history, sex offender and reference checks

Pay Rate: $15.00 to $19.00/hour
