We are seeking a caring, fun loving, energetic and creative individual who enjoys working with children to join our team as a Child Watch Lead. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who has experience supervising staff. We serve kids from 6wks - 13 years.

This is a Part-Time position with the ability to work 25-30 hours/week all year. Must have morning, evening and weekend availability.

We are currently seeking Leads to fill the following shifts:

  • Friday night
  • Saturday morning
  • Sunday afternoon

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • 12 months experience working with children preferred
  • Ability to effectively supervise children and staff
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Communicate effectively with members, participants and other YMCA staff
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in decision-making processes
  • Be friendly and courteous while working in a collaborative team environment
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history, sex offender and reference checks

Pay Rate: $15.00 to $19.00/hour
