The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking a Pickleball Coach for our programs in Round Rock, TX.

The Pickleball Coach will instruct, teach, and assist in all Pickleball programmed activities at the CHASCO Family YMCA while supporting the mission, purpose, and goals of the YMCA of Central Texas.

We are offering $250 bonus for new staff!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Individual must be energetic, friendly, possess a can-do attitude, and a willingness to help members learn and play the game of Pickleball
  • Supports/Leads the organization and coordination of Pickleball activities and events, as well as any additional support required to deliver Pickleball Activities
  • Provides group and individual Pickleball lessons
  • Supports in-house leagues and Pickleball socials
  • Assists with special pickleball events and tournaments
  • Occasionally writes pickleball articles for the club newsletter and website
  • Assists during scheduled hours for Coordination (non-court) assignments, to include: organizing and implementing Ladders/Leagues, helping with tournaments, socials, events, court monitoring
  • Evaluates the success of each activity, event, or outing and identifies opportunities for improvement in the future
  • 1+ years of experience in Pickleball

Pay Rate: $14-$19/hour
